Workshops

Our workshops contain dynamic and unique information that clients are able to directly implement. Lessons are custom designed for each client and audience, including executives, management, or general employees. Each workshop includes professional training materials and take-away pieces that add to the content of the course. Sean-Michael Green creates an atmosphere of learning wherein the group feels included in the learning process.

Current workshops include:

The Military Student - Any school can attract some students with military backgrounds. A school that wants to maximize the potential of working with these students, however, must put forth effort. They must understand how to market to these students, what to offer these students on campus, what support they need, and how to work with the government to participate in financial benefits programs. This workshop explores these topics, giving key personnel the understanding they need to reach these exceptional students.

Working with the Military - The military is a large and lucrative market. Reaching this market, however, can be difficult. Military bases are "protected" environments, and access is controlled. Furthermore, service members can be alienated by inappropriate messages. A company that wants to work with the military or individuals in the military must understand the sub-cultures that exist in the military, the advantages and disadvantages of a military campaign, and the key players and communicators in the military.

Thinking Differently in the Workplace - Many people discuss teamwork with their employees, but few of them actually encourage individualistic and creative thinking. Managers who encourage new ideas end up with more devoted and satisfied workers—as well as ideas that can practically and dramatically affect their departments. This workshop shows managers how to promote creative thought, helps employees to explore creative thinking, and teaches how to manage the ideas that arise from it.

Education to Motivate Employees - Organizations want to attract and retain talented people, but they often underutilize a key tool. Education benefits lead to a more competent workforce among those who partake of the benefits. Moreover, people who are drawn to your organization for these benefits are the "right" people—those who are career and goal oriented. In this group, organizations learn how to create, promote, and capitalize on an effective and affordable education benefits program.

Getting into and Paying for College - Applying to college can be difficult for anyone, but non-traditional students (i.e. people who do not go straight from high school to college) can have an especially difficult time. Without guidance counselors and a peer group engaged in the same process, the application process can be daunting. This workshop takes potential applicants step-by-step through the entire application process, from choosing a school, to writing essays based on their unique experiences, to finding all of the money available to them to pay for school.
